105 – Claiming Your Space with Bridget Flynn

Welcome back to the Scale Your Small Business Podcast with your host, Jillian Flodstrom! Today, we’re sitting down with Bridget Flynn, owner of Divine Organizing, a boutique home organizing and decorating firm. She has a keen understanding of how energy affects space and helps clients shift the energy in their environment and achieve their organizational and design goals.

A home, Bridget says, has a very specific purpose–it’s meant to be our haven. With COVID and many folks working from home, the dynamic in a home can change. It’s important to keep an eye on the energy in your home and how it impacts your spaces. For this reason, it’s crucial that you keep your work space and energy properly siloed from the rest of your home.

Those boundaries allow you to create a barrier between the energy of your work and the rest of your home. There is always a solution, even if you don’t have four walls and a door. Take a spot, claim it, and be the capitan of it.

When it comes to your space, You’re the CEO, you are the visionary, you are the visionary of your business, you know, it’s up to you to hold it and to and to be the guiding force. Creating rituals to get you in the mode will help lock down your goals for the day.

No matter your budget, you can decorate your space. The best thing you could do is I want you to bring in representations of your brand. That means incorporating your colors, your logo, and other recognizable parts of your work into your space. Making that space yours is empowering!

Bridget is offering a course named “The Queen’s Home,” an eight-week course where she helps people get clarity through organization and design.
